Before we get on with the nonsense of the day Judith Baxter, and I, Chris Gingerich, want to express our thanks to all who have joined us, visited us, commented, and just been darn nice.
When we did our first post on November 21, 2021 we weren’t sure what would happen but the very idea of two women, different backgrounds, mutual admiration and respect, and a refusal to recognize that age means old, decided to celebrate our worlds, our minds (when we haven’t lost them), A World Apart, and invite you in for the ride. And YOU have enriched that experience with every click and comment. JB and I celebrate our differences and likenesses we share with you. So in almost six months we have had 7,923 views, and 117 followers to whom I must also thank for sharing your world with us. It doesn’t matter where those numbers stand in the grand scheme of things, the point is each and everyone of you is number one with the two of us.
Now for just a bit of nonsense.
I really must not let myself get excited about things, but I had gone full gear for the Eclipse and Pink Flower Full Moon blah blah blah.
Had cleaned up my balcony and positioned my chair for the ideal position.
This was the night before so I knew it would be great. Oh boy!

Night of Eclipse. THAT’S RIGHT NO PHOTO BECAUSE NO MOON ONLY CLOUDS AND RAIN.
Then, (you can see I am much calmer here), I got up at 2 a.m. last night to make tea. Couldn’t sleep and saw this outside my window:

That’s right a moon so big and bright on a cloudless night it looked like daylight outside. Geez!!!!
So that’s about enough of my nonsense. It is time to get on with the rest of this day and from here at North of 43, I wish you cloudless skies no matter the weather!

You can never say thank you enough. Reblogged to Bridgesburning.wordpress.com

I was initially confused looking at the picture before I read the words…..sun? Daylight? Wow. I love the show of light from the moon.
(ps….glad to be here!)

Am so glad I am not the only one who gets up at all hours of the night/morning.
I, too, got up when the red moon was due.
Looked out the front door and the back door.
Couldn’t see the moon .
Thought “bugger it” and went back to bed.

My conspiracy theory: Moon to Clouds: “Let’s fool all those people down on Earth – I’ll do my show, while you do the dance of the seven veils …”
It was exactly the same here – magnificent moon with halo the night before the eclipse, clouds on the night of the eclipse, brilliant laughing moon the night after. Bravo Luna!!

Whoa. In some ways, that’s pretty creepy how the moon’s like a mini sun. Thanks for sharing your life, and I must say I enjoy the view outside your window!

Same here…beautiful cloudless day. It was my daughter’s birthday and we were going to sit by a bonfire to watch the eclipse. But, alas, an evening full of clouds…
P.S. I’m glad you are both enjoying the blogging experience.

Moonlit nights are a wonder with or without an eclipse.
